The closest visit is the Ranikhet Golf Course, the second largest natural golf course of the country. This is a nine hole course and one of the premium attractions of Ranikhet. Kalika temple is nearby to the Golf Course.
The world famous apple garden in Ranikhet is the Chaubattia Garden. A smooth stroll amongst apple groves is what you will enjoy along with seeing the apples and other fruits growing in abundance. This temple of Goddess Durge is an 800 century old temple. The fascinating feature of the Jhula Devi Temple is the impressive cluster of numerous holy bells, which are tied to its walls, and Jhula Devi is known to bless her devotees and grant their wishes. The people of Uttarakhand hold Jhula Devi in high esteem and believe that your wishes come true each time you tie a bell at the temple.
This temple is about 15kms from Ranikhet and has a beautiful stream flowing close ot it. Apart from a Shiva temple, an ashram, Binsar Mahadev also has a lovely cedar forest surrounding it.
Sri Sri 1008 Haidakhan Wale Baba established this beautiful Ashram between 1970 and 1984 and after he left his body many new buildings were created. Today this is a big ashram with many rooms, temples and places for the Haidakhan University. One can have a very good valley and Himalayan view from this place. The GD Birla Memorial School is very close to this place.
37 kms from Ranikhet Dwarahat is a prominent tourist attraction of Kumaon ones the power centre of the Katyuri rulers in 16th Century it became a part of Chand Dynasty and it has 11th century old temples which attract lot of tourist for their exquisite architecture. It has become more known due to presence of the YOGDA ASHRAM of Swami Yogananadji's fame.
